Mr. Dave here is a third cousin of mine…
I don’t see him or his family often so it was nice to hang with them for a bit this past week
Had a great time hanging out on Nickel Beach during the last little bit of daylight
They are super cute together - Loving the playfulness of these shots!
It’s always great getting to photograph other photographers
Me and Samantha assist each other from time to time on weddings
Here is her sweet little fam at the quarry and on the beach
Lots of fun with this sweet family…
And how I loved all the snow this winter!
I can’t resist sharing a few pics from my sleepover weekend with my niece.
Spending time with her makes my heart happy…
I can’t get enough of all the snuggles, all the different expressions that grace her face, and the joy that comes from simply just sitting and watching her eat.
It is definitely the simple things in life that makes this crazy thing call life so beautiful …
PS. We like to spend time in the kitchen
Always love getting called back to capture little ones as they grow…
Last year I photographed Sienna’s newborn session and this week I went back to capture images for her 1st birthday.
What a happy baby she is – As soon as I walked in the door she was all smiles.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIENNA!!

Had a great time with these guys a couple of weeks ago at the beach and quarry…
Captured some great moments and good laughs!
Family sessions can be so much fun when everyone is just being themselves and being present in the moment…
Not taking yourself too seriously can also be a bonus in some cases ha ha!!
FOR EXAMPLE …
The nice wipeout I took right in front of the gang right before snapping a family shot of them (please note this is the second time I’ve wiped out at a shoot) and then again when the girls (Danielle + Natalie) took a massive spill at the end via a piggy back ride gone bad.
Disclaimer … No bones were broken in the making of this shoot
I recently met Teresa and little Sienna here at the Farmer’s Market a couple of weeks ago when I was hanging out with my good friend Nadia.
Teresa is Nadia’s aunt and she and her family were visiting from Switzerland.
My photography came up in conversation and well… I managed to squeeze them in for a session the following week lol.
I’m glad it worked out and I was able to get some pics of their sweet family.
We also did a few with Teresa’s mom in her backyard…
I absolutely love the shots in the field we used and in Noni’s garden setting.
The beautiful colours and tones in these images go hand-in-hand with their beautiful family.
I just designed an album for them and I can’t wait to see it printed – It’s going to be REALLY nice …
This is a little family session I shot on a warm summer day back in August at the St. John’s Conservation Area.
St. John’s is actually one of my favourite spots to go to when I need to get away from it all.
If you end up on a night where no one is there around dinner it’s actually quite magical.
I am very fond of spending time with my duck friends there lol.
So whether it’s for a time out in nature or a family session I really like this place.
I had a nice time with this lovely family here…
This boy was the sweetest.
