= Sweet Night
Meet Lisa + Tom… I met Lisa a few weeks back at Canal Days via Arlene of Be One Yoga. Lisa was helping Arlene with her Yoga on the Street set up that took place outdoors right on Clarence Street. I chatted with her for little bit and realized quickly she was someone I definitely wanted to get to know better. Fortunately, I got to meet her a second time not too long after, at Arlene’s fifth anniversary open house for Be One Yoga. After this encounter I touched base with her and set up a meeting to check the gardens and canning that I’ve been hearing about.
After visiting their house, Lisa inspired me to get my butt in gear to can this year. It has inspired me to do even more next year. For now I have preserved 12 bottles of tomato sauce and 10 jars of roasted peppers in my pantry for the winter. I’m pretty happy about that.
After all this coolness I decided I’d do a little mini session with the two of them because I think they’re super neat and just lovely people. Here are Lisa and Tom at their sweet little house. As you can see their yard is surrounded by gardens that Lisa manages to preserve. It seems almost all of it is preserved in lovely jars for them over the winter months. They also have two chickens (Dolly + Daisy) and two rabbits (Ethel + Lucy).
I am also pretty sure they like each other a lot. I mean a lot that you feel blessed to even be in their presence to witness it. You’ll see it in the beautiful shot of Lisa swooning over Tom as he plays the guitar. Did I forget to mention he plays the guitar on top of the other coolness about them?
Pics of the lovely Miss Sarah Maloney and her man (or soon to be husband) Chris Kaufman.
Both Sarah + Chris’ parents homes back onto to Lake Erie so we were fortunate enough to have obvious choices for our locations. Although we were totally under attack by mosquitoes it was a great night… We had beautiful light and we were graced by the presence of one of our local bald eagles.
Loving these images!
Meet Stephanie + Tim…
Stephanie is from here in Port Colborne and Tim’s Family lives and works in Vaugh.
Their family runs an onion and celery farm and this was the backdrop for our photos along with a local conservation area.
It was a nice treat getting to shoot in a totally different setting and I had lots of fun!
Thanks so much Steph and Tim for coming up with the idea of shooting here !!
My cousin and his lovely lady he will be marrying this October…
Oh, and lets not forget their dogs Roxy and Fang
Here’s Seija + Karl’s maternity sessions we did in March. Kind of weird sharing a post with snow but have to show these. These two are super sweet and were super happy as you can see waiting for Gavin to make his appearance into the world. Little Gavin was born on April 12th and I photographed him in his first week so look out for those pics as well…
